2023 has been an interesting year. Some things have been good, other things not so good. I intended to make 2023 “Year of the Silly” but unfortunately fell a little flat due a series of events.
At the beginning of this year, I was ready to go! I had a lot more time available to make art and I felt totally ready and motivated. However, things quickly changed and I began to alter between feeling confident and feeling unsure of myself. Then, things changed. My work schedule became busier, I began going back to school, and I started losing motivation to create once more.
As of now, I’m going back to school for teaching credentials, since I intend to become an elementary school teacher. This alongside work has slowed down the production of my art during the “Year of the Silly.” Another issue is that I recently dropped my phone and broke my camera, so I’m unable to post any art at the moment.
In time, I’ll get things figured out and fixed up then keep trying. Being an artist is so important to me, so I just need to keep trying to make things right. Stay tuned for more coming soon!
