I Love You Saint Motel!

Saint Motel, an American indie pop band recently released their latest album; Sympohony in the Sky. I first saw Saint Motel as an opener for Panic! at the Disco during their “Death of a Bachelor” tour. That was all the way back in high school! Links to the bands discussed will be below.

The Sound in Delmar

One of my favorite parts about attending concerts is not only seeing my favorite bands live, but also getting to see all the different venue locations they’re hosted at! Below is a rundown of my recent expereince at The Sound.

The Sound is an indoor live music venue, located at the Delmar Fairgrounds. A parking fee is required unless anyone is being dropped off at the venue. General admission is standing room only in the center of the venue. Reserved seating is also available off to the sides as well as above on the second floor.

Bathrooms are also close by near the right of general admission! The lighting and sound within the venue is excellent, allowing for quality sound and veiwing of the bands. Sponsored by Bellyup, The Sound is an alcohol friendly venue.

More than Great!

IDKHBTFM once said, “Nobody likes the opening band.” Opening bands aren’t who we came to see. They aren’t who we bought the tickets for. But what happens when that opening band becomes one of our top artists?

There are so many artists I never would have discovered if it wasn’t for opening bands! GreatGoodFineOk, a synthpop band founded in 2013 has now become another addition to my music library. The overall vibe, performace, outfits, and music made for an excellent first impression. Give them a listen!

Symphony in the Sky Tour 2025

This tour was absolutely fantastic to witness live! There were lots of songs played from all eras and albums of Saint Motel, ranging from 2012 up until the newest album; Symphony in the Sky. I was lucky enough to hear all of my favorite songs during this concert. Seeing Saint Motel live up close felt absolutely amazing after seeing them years ago as an opener. Unfortunately, I was not able to grab a tour shirt due to the high price of forty dollars.
