Over the weekend, I attended a free book event hosted at the Weir Beer Brewery in Vista, California. This event made for an excellent addition to my 2026 adventures.
Books, books, and more books! Many of the vendors at this event were local authors. Talking to each author and hearing about the books they wrote felt very inspiring. It’s always nice to chat with like minded people who are passionate about the things they produce. Tables were also set up with free books to read that were also available for purchase.
My favorite part of the Bookish Bazaar, however, was the Wandering Book Bus. The Wandering Book Bus was a large bus parked outside towards the backside of the bar. The bus allowed people to walk in and check it out inside. The interior was beautiful! The interior was beautifully done and felt like a cozy traveling bus. There were also shelves lined with books, making it feel like a miniature library on wheels! The Book Bus was absolutely fantastic, and one thing was for sure; I wouldn’t be leaving empty handed. Overall, this was an excellent experience. I’m excited to read my new books, too!
