“Silly Company” is a comic I recently made and didn’t talk much about here after its creation. So, here it is! “Silly Company” is an interesting piece, for it was more than just a comic based on a video game.
What is Silly Company About?
“Silly Company” is a comic I made based off of the survival game, “Lethal Company” which came out in October of 2023. At the time, my previous laptop had a hard time running the game. Due to lackluster graphic requirements and being an older model, there was a lot of struggle to play! “Silly Company” features a variety of my online friends, as well as IRL friends and partner. The focus for this comic is as its titled; being silly!

There are fun details to be seen in “Silly Company.” Sky is commonly drawn with bunny ears, a reference to his usual choice of main killer in Dead by Daylight; Huntress. Huntress is a tall, strong lady seen wearing a bunny mask in game. This can also be switched in the cosmetics for a fox mask!
The quote, “A door could scare you, Red.” comes from a funny encounter while I was once playing Lethal Company. When a friend of mine opened a door to exit a room, I was attempting to enter through the same door. Due to me not seeing them open the door, I thought the door had opened on its own, which made me freak out. So, doors have become a rather funny inside joke.
Why is “Silly Company” special?
When attempting to make comics, I’ve found myself doubting the results and trashing products before they’re seen by anyone. This comic ended up being longer than intended during the rough sketch stage. However, I believe this not only helped with the comic’s flow, but also made for more fun to work towards a final product! “Silly Company” is a piece that reminds me, “I’m an artist. I can do this.”
