After a lot of hard work and adjustments made from feedback, my first official piece for Grad Folio II is finished. This is considered my first piece aside from the revision piece, which can be seen in a previous post “A Revision with New Life!”. At first, I wasn’t too sure if I wanted to feature this in the grad show. After some discussion and consideration, I changed my mind and gave this one the green light.
The idea and intention behind this piece was to play with ironic humor. I also enjoyed being able to stylize the characters and show off my general design skills. My perspective needs a lot of improvement, but I tried to draw this from a different angle, rather than doing a basic straight on shot that’s often seen in a lot of my work.
